"Ratta maar lete, pass ho jayenge"
Our politicians (whose children have also settled abroad) raise issues about literacy rate, want our youth to work for India, work in India and not move abroad but don't want to accept the bottlenecks which lie deep in our education system.
Today, we measure the potential of a student by its grades of a theoretical subject printed on a plain sheet of paper infamously known as a 'marksheet'. Soo many times, our school or society reminds us why are we useless and won't be able to do anything in our life.
I asked my teacher (with so much courage)- why are we not taught about ITR and unsurprisingly her answer was "Beta, bade hoge tab tum sikh jaoge" so I ask my wonderful readers- What is the age to learn financial knowledge?
Today, even there are so many people in the society who are dependent on others for finance (even those who are at high posts) and don't have knowledge which is most important for life and livelihood.
We believe in all work no play, know the definition but don't know how to do it, and no emphasis on creative learning and research as it's just an old curriculum with history books that only defame India.
We want entrepreneurs but mandatory attendance is needed,... we want.....but can't work on it.
Our education system needs to change from the base level which focuses on practical knowledge!!
